"Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning." - Benjamin Franklin

Hi, my name is Heath Port. The oldest of 3 boys from a farm in the Midwest, I am the son that my dad would introduce as "the one that will most likely be the President of the United States someday." While I am not gunning for any political offices (sorry Dad), I have derived some leadership qualities throughout my personal and professional paths. I have led a diverse professional life, starting off in plant genetics research and eventually earning my MBA and working in strategic roles for some of the largest firms in the U.S. I have a passion for helping others understand the big picture and how they fit in, which blends my strategic planning and organizational change management skills nicely. I have worn many hats in my career-technologist, customer advocate, researcher, manager, communicator, strategist, and planner. As a result, I have a deep ability to understand organizational behavior and the levers that can be utilized to effectively get people, teams, functions, and leaders all pulling in the same direction. My personal life aligns with my professional in that I have a love of the grand scale of life. I am a proud papa to an extroverted toddler, a husband, lover of the outdoors, and stay active running, hiking, snowboarding, camping, and exploring. I give back to my community as a Board member with a fantastic Denver nonprofit, Environmental Learning for Kids.
